Dr. Nofouz Mafarja (Ph.D., Universiti Malaya, 2022) is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Education. Her multi‑disciplinary research centers on physics education, scaffolding and collaborative learning (Reciprocal Teaching strategies), word‑problem solving in physics, critical thinking, STEM education, academic self‑concept, learning attitudes in physics, and reading comprehension in science. She is actively involved in projects exploring Industry 4.0, Society 5.0, teaching innovation, hybrid and project‑based learning (PjBL) models, virtual/augmented reality in education, and the integration of Generative AI tools in teaching practices. With extensive experience in science teaching, curriculum design, educational technology, and teacher training, she brings a unique combination of theoretical insight and classroom‑based innovation to STEM pedagogy and AI‑enhanced learning.
